So I went in for an appointment today. Yet another one that I had to call and ask to come in for changes. My left eye has an area that keeps coming towards the center vision, right on the cusp, and shadows the center of sight.
But, the reason I am blogging about this visit is that my doctor is doing something differnt today. While my injection was taking place, and I could see the medicine entering my eye, I experienced a sensation that was weird. Last time I talked to him, I told him my vision got darker and was like looking through lace.
Today was similar, but I was able to express it as it happened. It got darker, and lingered, as if I had rubbed my eyes too hard. And then faded slowly, like the sensation I experienced before I blacked out once.
He told me he was trying something different with me, and he was giving me "fat injections"
This means that he is giving me just a bigger dise of medicine than usual - instead of the recommended dose. He says it doesn't harm my eye, so we will see if it does any good or not.
